according to a NYR scout, the guy’s footspeed is a big? right now… he was getting beat clean a lot defensively by ahl forwards or something like that. plus the guy is too injury prone

While i admit I have not seen him play at all this year in the minors, I can not believe his play has dropped so bad that no one wants him at 2.25 a year. This is really surprising to me.
