Sportnset's John Shannon explains why the Calgary Flames weren't credited with a goal on Sam Bennett's would-be goal attempt on Tuesday evening. It's about something called parallax.

Definition of PARALLAX: the apparent displacement or the difference in apparent direction of an object as seen from two different points not on a straight line with the object; especially : the angular difference in direction of a celestial body as measured from two points on the earth's orbit

Seems pretty easy to understand. I didn’t see the play or the review, but if they had an overhead shot of the puck, seems easy to prove. So, was there an overhead from the goal cam?
