So How Was Your Thanksgiving?

I am sure Greg won’t mind if you answer here.

Just a note about PD.  Who knew a few short years ago, that a guy who wrote a book about 10-cent beer would be one of the must-stop places to visit on a daily basis?  On top of that, Greg has changed the way things are done on the web when it comes to hockey blogging.

Believe me, I have witnessed the change myself and I should know since I visit hundereds of websites on a daily basis..

from Greg Wyshynski of PuckDaddy,

So how’s your Turkey Day been? They didn’t overcook the bird, did they? They didn’t burn the mini-croissants, did they? If so, we know this great Chinese joint down the street ...

It’s a time to give thanks, so that’s exactly what we’re doing. We’ve asked ourselves and some Friends of Puck Daddy a rather simple question: What are you thankful for in hockey?

Please answer that for yourselves in the comments, give our answers a read and have a great holiday.

The first batch of responses are here; this batch includes the great Justin Bourne, Nick Cotsonika, Erin Nicks, Chris Botta, Dmitry Chesnokov and others. But first: It’s your humble editor’s picks.

Terrible organizations: If we couldn’t talk about how terrible the Islanders are right now, or if Darryl Sutter and Glen Sather didn’t make absolutely befuddling transactions every time they get the chance, or if every organization were as well-run as Detroit’s, the world would be a much more boring place.

Thanks, Lambert, for the backhanded compliment.  Pick up the KK beer tab at the end of the season.
