from Katie Strang of ESPN New York,
Despite the fact the New York Islanders will miss the playoffs this season for the fifth straight year, team owner Charles Wang said he will bring back both general manager Garth Snow and coach Jack Capuano next season.
In an interview with MSG Network on its pregame show Sunday, Wang said he thinks Snow has done “a very good job,” and expressed “complete confidence” in him.
When asked point-blank whether Snow and Capuano would retain their posts next season, Wang confirmed they would.
Wang briefly discussed the future of staying on Long Island….

Being swept in a home-and-home series by the Islanders is even funnier!

The only thing dumber than this news is that they may end up playing in an NBA building with half the seats blocked out because the rink is built under one end of the bleachers. This franchise is a joke!

Yes it is douchebag & that is the Problem with the Pens ! They got full of themselves reading & hearing how the are the odds on favorite for the SC & it went to their heads & bad habits became the norm & when MAF wasn’t standing on his head they started getting Smoked & swept by an AHL organIzation

They meet the number one requirement they work cheap. To see such a bush minor league outfit in the New York Metro area is awful. One cheap gimmick after another. school kids singing in return for buying tickets stc. One corny stunt after another.
