Slava Voynov Skated With The Kings At An ‘Optional’ Skate Today

via Lisa Dillman tweets,

Voynov skating w team does not mean change in legal case - talked to his lawyer just now prelim set for dec 15

Just got on the ice early - DL thought it would be good for Voynov to be around teammates for the day

from Rich Hammond tweets,

Yeah the Kings definitely did not get permission for this Voynov stuff. They’re trying to claim he could skate because it was optional.

If this was an optional skate, it was highly coincidental that every single Kings player was on the ice.

Both Dillman and Hammond have more tweets on this topic...

added 2:22pm, Jon Rosen tweets,

Sutter: "It was an optional skate and everybody went. He's supposed to come out after with the injured guys...

Sutter, 2/2: ... right after practice. Everybody went today..."

added 2:30pm, Dillman tweet,

Understand that the Kings explained the situation to the league #voynov
