Skrastins “Used To” Blocking Shots, Pain

Skrastins said. "[Blocking shots] are not big pains. After a game, just put the ice on and you're all right the next day. You don't have time to think about small injuries. "Every season I had a couple things that I was going through. I had bad ribs and sore shoulders, too. It's hockey, a tough game." Taking that into account, it makes his feat of playing in 447 consecutive games, the most by any active NHL player and the second- longest streak by a defenseman in league history, even more remarkable.
