SAN JOSE, CA – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has signed defenseman Jason Demers to a two-year contract extension. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Jason’s puck-moving capabilities and competitive nature fit well with where our team is trending,” said Wilson. “He is very capable of executing the up-tempo style of game we want to play and we see him as an important part of our team.”
