You’re blaming Howard on that? He of the .950 save percentage through the first two games? He being the only reason games 1 and 2 weren’t complete blowouts in favor of the Sharks?
Helm blew his coverage on the tying goal, where’s the hate there? And Zetteberg blew his coverage on this one. Then he made a half-assed attempt to block the shot with his stick, which ended up deflecting it. Just like in Game 1, Howard had no chance. And don’t get me started on Ericsson. The guy’s a pylon out there.
I’m as pissed as the next guy and no Howard apologist, but at least have the decency to pin the blame where it belongs and it’s not with Howard.

Ericsson looking like the pathetic defenceman he’s always been, and Hank not looking for his man…
But I’m sorry, JIMMAH has to get this shot. This just can’t get through. It doesn’t change the fact the team pissed away another third period lead, but this goal cannot be given up.
