Sharks Cool Down

from the Mercury News,
Since snapping off six consecutive victories to usher in the Thornton era, the Sharks have reverted to their November form. They have dropped four of their past five - three to divisional opponents. The NHL's holiday roster freeze, which had gone into effect Dec. 17, ends on Tuesday. General Manager Doug Wilson said Monday that he has had recent conversations with some clubs, but no trades are imminent for the Sharks. Across the league, more trade talks could materialize later this week and next week when most general managers, including Wilson, arrive in Vancouver to watch the end of the world junior championships.
