Sens Squeezed

from Canada.com,
Muckler continues to rail against last year's agreement with the players, which expedites free agency and squeezes payroll with a cap. So much for the new CBA making all the smaller market teams happy. The Senators feel they are being punished for having developed good young players they now can't afford to keep. ''If you're not successful, you're a buyer, and if you are successful, you're a seller,'' Muckler said. Clearly, the sight of unrestricted free agent Zdeno Chara sauntering out the door to riches from the Boston Bruins, was a motivating factor in Muckler moving Havlat. ''Watching Chara walk, I wanted to make an early decision on Havlat - to get something for him,'' Muckler said.
