Semin Fined For Cross-Check

Washington Capitals sniper Alexander Semin was fined for his cross-check to the head of Colorado Avalanche defenceman John-Michael Liles on Saturday.

Semin was assessed a 5-minute major penalty for cross-checking and a 10-minute misconduct on the play.

Disgusting hit. Blindside, cross-check to the back of the head/neck. That’s a very dangerous play.

Another example of how much of a starfucker league the NHL is.  How many did Jokinen get for basically the exact same thing?

how many were handed out for the blatant spearing?

it’s a sad state of affairs in the NHL.
