Selanne Lighting Up The League

from Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail,
No player has more points since the Olympic break than Selanne (34 in 22 games) — not Jaromir Jagr, not Joe Thornton, not the rookie sensation Alexander Ovechkin — which represents an astonishing turnaround for a player who thought he might have to retire a year ago because of a serious injury to his left knee. "You want to make your own decisions and go out on your own terms," Selanne explained, with his trademark smile on his face. "I always said, 'the toughest part about retiring one day is if you have to do it because of injury.' That's not the case with me right now.
