Second Round Predictions: How Did We Do?

Last night was the end of the second round as the battle for California came to an end in Game Seven between the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks.  For those that either were not up or had gone out. The Kings defeated the Ducks in Anaheim to eliminate the Ducks and see the end of Teemu Selanne’s Hall of Fame career.

So how did we do on our Second Round Predictions?

I had picked the Boston Bruins to beat the Montreal Canadiens in six games. Wrong. Just completely wrong as the Canadiens would take the Bruins in seven games.

The New York Rangers would defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games. At least I got the team right this time but like the other Eastern Conference matchup it would take seven games not six.

Out in the West I had picked the Ducks over the Kings in seven games.  Managed to get the length of the series right this time but the wrong team. 

Lastly, the Chicago Blackhawks in five over the Minnesota Wild.  So I am 50/50 in the teams and I got one series length correct.  Ouch.

As for the KK members that posted predictions:
NHLJeff had Bruins in five, Penguins in seven, Hawks in six, and the Kings in seven.
Paul Kukla picked the Bruins in six, the Rangers in five, the Blackhawks in five and the Kings in seven.
