Yeah, like his glove was way up high before Smyth shot the puck… Seriously, you may not like him but he made a great save there.

except that Brodeur actually moved his glove AFTER he puck was in his glove and was lying on his side facing the shooter. Luongo’s pads were in the net when Smyth shot the puck.

At least he didn’t pull a fleury. God…what the hell is his problem? Can’t he just make a glove save without trying to play tennis with the puck? The NHL should institute a “You can only be flashy when you can actually make ordinary saves” rule. How far away are we from the Theissen era???!!! And another thing…Bylsma…TANGRADI…at your disposal…just saying.

fantastic anticipation from Luongo,had his eyes on the puck,knew where it will be going,and snap!
