- First time I saw Matt Duchene play, skating for the Brampton Battalion, I was mesmerized by his game and the joy he played with. You couldn’t take your eyes off him. All these years later, I wonder where that player and that joy went. Who is Matt Duchene, wanting out from Colorado Avalanche, anymore? Honest, I wish I knew who he is and what he is.
