San Jose Sharks Trade Mike Hoffman To The Florida Panthers

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Panthers have acquired forward Mike Hoffman and a 2018 seventh round pick from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Florida's 2019 second round pick, 2018 fourth round pick and 2018 5th round pick.

"Mike is a skilled, consistent and hard-working player who has proven himself to be a talented goal scorer in the NHL," said Tallon. "His speed, experience and offensive abilities will bolster our top-six group."

Pretty good day for Doug Wilson.

Yeah, he has Evander Kane and Mike Hoffman, so I assume that his next move is to try and can coax Sean Avery out of retirement so that he can have an entire line of locker room cancers.

Good move for the Panthers, they needed additional scoring and didn’t have you give up a player. As long as they can keep their ladies from a cat fight this looks good for Panthers.

I feel sad for whomever gets picked by the Sens.  What a fuk fest.

This deal also puts Hoffman back into the Atlantic Division with the Sens.

I don’t think he wants to go to the west coast.  But we’ll see I guess.  All potential suitors so far have been in the east.  I think STL is the furthest west
