Ryan Getzlaf Out With Apendicitis

Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf will not play in tonight’s game at Dallas due to appendicitis. He has returned home to have an appendectomy (non-emergency), which is scheduled for tomorrow in Orange County. Getzlaf, who has had discomfort intermittently over the last six weeks, is expected to miss approximately 4-to-12 days of game action.
