The world’s largest roller hockey tour, the North American Roller Hockey Championships (NARCh), will culminate in the NARCh Finals
at the Hockey Centre in Mississaugua, Ontario, Canada, July 15-30, 2006. More than 382 teams from the U.S., Canada, Venezuela, France, Japan, Brazil, Colombia and the U.K. will compete in 940 games across 29 divisions in the two-week tournament.
“This event is another showcase of hockey’s popularity around the world,” said Alysse Soll, NHL Vice President, Marketing. “The overwhelming interest by amateur roller hockey teams from all corners is a testament to the growth of the game.”
"The response to this event in Ontario is incredible, which is evident by the number of teams,” said Daryn Goodwin, NARCh president. “There are teams from absolutely everywhere and the competition is better than ever."
