National U.S. Television Ratings On Versus Show Big Gains Over 2005-06 The NHL on Versus averaged a .3 national household cable rating and 182,465 total households, up 50% and 22%, respectively, from the same time last year. There have been dramatic increases in key demographics, such as Men 18-24 (up 189%), Men 18-34 (up 40%) and Men 18-49 (up 11%). NHL Posts Second-Highest October Attendance Figure In History Highlighted by Buffalo's 41% increase to 18,690 and Carolina's 29% surge to 17,782, the NHL posted the second-highest October attendance figure in its 89-year history, attracting an average of 16,537 fans.
