Scratch one goalie off the UFA list. Sportsnet has learned Michael Leighton has come to terms on short term 2 year/ 3.1M with the Flyers.

Wait, the Winter Classic is Pens vs Caps I thought for sure he would take Theodore’s place for the Caps and return to his rightful place as the default Winter Classic goaltender.

Hockey1919, I believe you’re thinking of Ty Conklin. Leighton only played in the most recent WC.
