Red Wings HockeyFest 2011 - Doug’s Twitter Feed Coverage

Well, if all goes according to plan, which it never seems to do in my life, I should either already be at, or on my way to the Joe Louis Arena as you read this. As the doors for HockeyFest will open in about a half hour from now, at 11AM.  Since there will be no areas to setup a laptop for usage, to provide updates with, I’ve come up with the next best idea. A Twitter feed of my constant HockeyFest updates!

Much thanks to Paul and Alanah for putting in the work to actually get this idea of mine to work and make it all possible. Be sure to check back in on this post throughout the day, from 11AM - 6PM as I’ll be providing regular little updates via this handy Twitter widget. Note, you might hear me referring to someone named Mike many times, as he is my good friend that will be tagging along with me for the day, although we may split up on occasion to check out different things.

Anyway, here is the live feed directly from HockeyFest 2011 - enjoy!

I’ll stop updating once HockeyFest is pretty much wrapped up. Then once I return home I’ll begin putting together a massive recap post of all of the day’s events and activities, which should include a bunch of photos and the occasional short video clip or two. As well as some extensive write ups about several things. Expect to see that post go up sometime tomorrow, either late morning or early afternoon.
