Red Wing Fan Tom Needs Some Help

Tommy Garrett, age 17, needs a life-saving treatment called Photophersesis that is only available in Calgary. After being diagnosed at the age of 14 with acute myeloid leukemia he has spent the past three years battling for his life. Soon after his diagnosis, Tommy desperately needed a bone-marrow transplant. He received the transplant on June 13 from Windsor resident Ron Giles. However, his body rejected the bone marrow and he now suffers from a painful disease as a result. He has painful lesions on 85 per cent of his body and if he does not get treatment, he will not survive.
