Recapping The Talk

from Larry Brooks of the NY Post,
The institutional hysteria revolving around Bob Clarke's $1.9 million offer sheet to Ryan Kesler is, in a word, hysterical. The abundant ignorance displayed by those in the industry who have attacked the Flyers GM for his acute use of the NHL's collective bargaining agreement is revolting. What part of 54 percent of the gross, exactly, is it that these people do not understand?
continued (reg. req.)... and on NYI Wang, Brooks had this to say,
In signing Rick DiPietro to that 15-year, $67M contract, Wang simply gave a lifetime contract to a pal with whom the owner can tee it up and talk shop. It's his way of doing business. Nothing more and nothing less.
