Via Larry Brooks at the NY Post,
And not only are Jagr (fifth in the league among forwards at 22:36), Shanahan (12th at 21:36), Martin Straka (15th at 21:29) and Michael Nylander (25th at 20:48) being asked to assume too much of the burden and too soon, there isn't a set of young legs among them. Straka and Nylander each turned 32 within the last two months. Jagr will be 35 in February. Shanahan will turn 38 in January. At the same time, while the top of the lineup is being overworked, others are wasting away.
