Rangers lose Ryan McDonagh to hit by Vancouver’s Alex Burrows

Not sure how its was an elbowing. but it was a high, late hit.

It was driving a completely defenseless payer hard into the boards from behind. Should be a 20 game suspension if the nhl (shanahan)  had and balls.

Not sure what (if?) Burrows was thinking there. These are the sorts of plays that drive me away from the game. I do hope he gets Shanabanned for a while.

That one word is all Tortorella could muster in response tells you all you need to know about his own opinion of the hit.
