Radulov is not scratched. He remains with Datsyuk and Kovalchuk.

No way Medvedev was going to let the jewel of the KHL be benched.  Olympic politics as usual.

I think you hit it on the head. Politics = hockey decisions. They got Radulov back from the NHL, so no way he sits.
