Quick Saturday Questions

How many shifts does Ryane Clowe take tonight before getting called for a penalty?

The media keeps telling me Detroit and Chicago want to avoid playing Nashville in the first round, but they have yet to tell me who Nashville wants to avoid.  Or are they that good they can just show up at the rink and win?

Do you have enough guts to answer this question?  Name the player who scores the game-winner of the last Stanley Cup Final game this season?  For extra credit, what goalie does he beat (if any empty-netter, name the team) ?

What team(s) in each conference scare you entering the playoffs?

Your choice- A day with the Cup or being the best buddy of any NHL player for a day?

No, the Preds are not that good.

Zetterberg, Lundquist

Nobody scares me.

Day with the 12th Cup won by the Red Wings.

17 (He’s a Shark, after all)

They want Chicago..they certainly don’t want Detroit.

Valtteri Filppula, Fleury.

What team(s) in each conference scare you entering the playoffs?

Scares me? None, but I am buying extra booze for any rounds facing the Blues or Preds

Day with the cup.  We all love our favorite players, but that big silver beauty is FOREVER.

The cup is a beautiful thing, but I’d learn a whole lot more spending a day with a guy like Pavel Datsyuk.

Okay, here are mine…

How many shifts does Ryane Clowe take tonight before getting called for a penalty?

Three. I think he remembers to be on his best behavior for that long, and he has an obvious brain fart in his 4th shift.

The media keeps telling me Detroit and Chicago want to avoid playing Nashville in the first round, but they have yet to tell me who Nashville wants to avoid.  Or are they that good they can just show up at the rink and win?

I think Nashville can beat either, but would actually prefer to beat Detroit because of the added history between the two teams. They would feel better about themselves beating Detroit than beating Chicago.

I think the game-winner is scored by Marian Gaborik against Pekka Rinne. A multi-overtime heart-breaker.

What team(s) in each conference scare you entering the playoffs?

Not scared, but I think that Nashville and Los Angeles have the greatest capacity to go on a solid run in the West, and in the East the Rangers look very good. (Mostly for the goaltending.)

Your choice- A day with the Cup or being the best buddy of any NHL player for a day?

The Cup is special, but I’d much rather spend a day hanging out with Pavel Datsyuk. smile

I say Ruslan Fedotenko scores the winner, on Cory Schneider.
