Here is a comment from HF Boards and since many of us have the same questions, my answers appear in italics...
Following the sport from the UK and wanted to know where I can catch all the saturday night material that was available online last year?
Believe me, you have to look around. Sporstnet does have some features available, but many are Geo blocked outside of Canadian IPs. A feature like this, The Greatest Hockey Factory In The World, would be great to watch, but .... Sportsnet does have a YouTube channel, but it is very limited in regards to hockey related videos.
Mainly Hot Stove (if that is still around)?
Elliotte Friedman and Damien Cox do something very similar, but again, have yet to see any video of it the last two weeks.
Also with Sportsnet taking over all the coverage, do they have any segements/specials than can be viewed online? Dont know much about that Strombo guy... he has some show now right?
Any special content or segment I can find to fill my sunday mornings with hockey?
We can only hope. I understand Sportsnet Geo blocking NHL game content, but the other features are head scratching. NHL fans are all over the world and it would be nice if all the content was available to us. Heck, if they don't want to allow embedding of videos, maybe the could do what TSN does, just don't provide an embed code but at least allow us to watch.
In some instances, video is not available at all, like the Friedman/Cox segments, maybe that will change moving forward.
On a sidenote, I did try to contact Sportsnet about their thinking on Geo blocking late last season, but never did receive a reply.
