Kukla's Korner Hockey

from Tony Gallagher of the Vancouver Province,
The Canucks won 4-3 on a bizarre OT goal from Mason Raymond but for most of the night they almost all looked as though they could have used a long, hard slurp of the best energy drink on the market.
We all know the Colorado Avalanche young players skate well and can put some pressure on you but the Canucks are supposed to be Cup contenders.
And yet after four days off they spent more than half the night back on their heels examining just how good a goaltender Roberto Luongo can be after all this nonsense about Cory Schneider perhaps making something of a goaltending controversy in Vancouver.
While Schneider has been good in his two home starts against easy opposition, the listless Canucks made Lui produce an excellent performance to get only his second win of the year, and if the team plays like that in front of him very often every W in his column is going to be a tour de force.
