Quebec Players Fading

Though the NHL still has a number of talented hockey players hailing from Quebec, the decreasing numbers are causing concern in the province, according to the Journal de Montreal newspaper. As recently as the 1999-2000, no fewer than 82 players were Quebecers. But last year, that number was down to 58, which constitutes a 29 per-cent decrease.
