Q & A With Clarke

from the Philadelphia Inquirer,
Clarke sat down Monday to discuss his thoughts. Among the names out there for possible trades are those of Mark Recchi, Wes Walz, Derek Morris and Dallas Drake. The club would love to get Olli Jokinen from Florida - as would others - but he will command a high price. The Flyers have a little more than $2 million in salary-cap room. That's not a lot. Q: Is waiving two players an option to gain more cap space? A: You certainly don't want to do that. I don't think a player of that salary will be available, anyway. In my situation, you look at every option, just like every other team.
