Kukla's Korner Hockey

Pulford Monitoring Playoffs

from Bob Verdi of the Chicago Tribune,
And thanks to the Blackhawks, who have been rebuilding since 1961, there will be no playoff hockey this month, or this year, but it's a long century. The last one certainly was. While franchises from Detroit, Dallas and New Jersey could win championships in both the NBA and NHL, the United Center will house no such possibility because our icemen goeth quietly to the first tee again, suspecting they are in the wrong sport. When it comes to playing hockey, the Hawks might be a better golf team.
