Predators avoid arbitration with Sergei Kostitsyn, sign him to 2-year, $6 million deal

TSN’s Darren Dreger threw a little curveball at fans as he was breaking the Rick Nash trade news, offering a Tweet stating that the Nashville Predators have re-signed Sergei Kostitsyn while using the Belarussian transliteration of his name:

Sergei Kostitsyn, Siarhei Kastsitsyn, same guy.

I’m actually surprised they’re bringing him back.  Then again, they need warm bodies.  Lots and lots of warm bodies…

I’m not.  Sergei is the Kostitsyn brother they’ve had for a 2 years and haven’t had any problems with.  Andrei is the one they acquired this past season and had the curfew problem along with Radulov.
