Ron Bulloch has been selling the PowerSkater training system full time for four years, and people still are surprised he works out of Fort Wayne. While the city has a loyal minor-league hockey following and established junior and high-school hockey teams, Indiana is not a state known for its hockey obsession. "Us Canadians think we know everything about hockey," Bulloch said. "If I was home I would never have made this thing." image The PowerSkater, his first product, has been sold to several National Hockey League teams, including the Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens, as well as other professional, college and junior hockey teams. It helps hockey players learn to skate properly, and it develops their leg muscles off the ice. Ice-skating instructors also are using the machine to help students learn the fundamentals.
