Revenue growth may not be as significant for 2006-07 compared to last season, but if growth does continue on even a marginal scale, those escrow payments may only be in single digits for not just next season but future ones, with more possibilities of that money returning to the players. It appears now that too many of the players' critics focussed on the wrong issues in their assessment of which side "won" the NHL's contentious labor war, neglecting to closely examine what the PA had negotiated for the players.much more...
