Phaneuf Played With Broken Foot

Calder nominee Dion Phaneuf played the Calgary Flames series with a boken bone in his foot and a sore knee. Phaneuf, who has declined an invitation to join Team Canada at the world championship, suffered the injury in the final regular season game at Anaheim. Also declining Team Canada invitations due to injury are defenceman Robyn Regehr and Flames captain Jarome Iginla.
