via Jeff Miller of the Ducks Blog at the OC Register,
Even if he weren’t the Ducks’ captain, the extra two minutes Ryan Getzlaf took in overtime Friday would have been dreadful enough.
But, as the team’s appointed leader, the unsportsmanlike penalty on Getzlaf was even more brutal.
“I was frustrated,” he said after Philadelphia used the extended power play to beat the Ducks, 4-3, in overtime. “It’s an emotional game out there. I definitely…it won’t happen again. That kind of stuff at the end of the game hurt our group tonight. You know, I’ll take that on me, and we’ll go forward from there.”

Typical frat boy mentality…and I’ve always thought him to be exactly one of those.

His temper…aside from his hairline…is probably one of the biggest reasons I’d hate to see him on a team I was rooting for.
He’s big and has great hands and a good shot. But boooooyyyy…you get under his skin the slightest bit and he loses his freakin mind.
