from Ducks Blog at the OC Register,
Samuel Pahlsson is tentatively scheduled to see a specialist this week to try and alleviate a perplexingly stubborn abdominal strain, Coach Randy Carlyle said Tuesday.
Pahlsson will make the upcoming eight-game, 15-day road trip and consult with a specialist on Friday. Carlyle said it is the same specialist who helped Minnesota star forward Marian Gaborik recover from a similarly-nagging groin injury last year, and Pahlsson apparently has positive history with him.
“This doctor has got some technique that made him feel really good,” Carlyle said.
