Open Post- USA/Finland Play For The Bronze Medal

Game time is 10:00am ET and can be watched on NBCSN and CBC.

I am not sure what kind of game to expect, but if it does turn to be a wide open game, the advantage would go to the USA.

Has Patrick been raising Kane and back to being a party animal in Russia?  Pathetic.

I look forward to Bylsma getting fired in Pittsburgh after yet another playoff failure.  This is a bland national disgrace far more disappointing than the loss to a powerhouse Canadian team.  We should DOMINTE the Fins.  Pathetic.  Bylsma should NEVER EVER get to coach USA ever again!!!

Beyond sick of Kane.  Our blue line was my biggest worry before the tourney.  Bylsma stumbled into Cup win that was not of his making.  Bland coach reflected on ice.  Pens will flop in playoffs again.

As LAK fan I hope Brown stays behind and never comes back. Has done nothing since signing the big phat contract.

I tired of Kane’s too cool for school act years ago.

Team USA nothing but hot air.

Ryan Suter is -3. Not surprised.  He looks really bad. No energy or desire yesterday, either. What’s he make? WAY overrated.

If Bylsma and his staff get anywhere near another Olympic tournament it will be a travesty.

Not saying the last two games were totally on them, but they should get the lion’s share of the blame. Byslma did NOTHING to counteract Babcock’s coaching strategies yesterday, and he has lost the team ever since.

I am not sure what game this guy was watching…

For the United States, however, there was certainly an excellent performance amidst an overall lackadaisical effort, and it will bode well for his NHL team, the Chicago Blackhawks. Patrick Kane may have finished these Olympic Games without a goal to his name, but the opportunities he created today (and the momentum that goes with it) should be carried back with him once the NHL season gets back underway once again later this week.

Kane was easily the best American player on the ice, and it felt as if he was attempting to carry the team. He was credited with six shots on goal, a tournament high, and just seemed to be moving with more purpose than his teammates. A highly emotional tournament for Kane certainly ended in disappointment, but Kane was nonetheless mature and candid in his post-game interview.
