Hate to say this but I think that Mathews goal should have been overturned.

Rask has part of his body slightly out of the paint but he’s like 80% in,
Hyman pushes off, goes back into Rask and bumps him enough to knock him off balance.

Does Rask make the save sans that bump?
No that was a good play by Muzzin and quick release by Mathews and it’s hard to see Rask getting across.
Even if he’d read it.

Brodie finally did something right this series! He has been Calgary’s worst D by far. 2-1 Avs.

If it’s any consolation, I feel like it should have counted too.

Thanks Alan, nice to know others see it the same.

I realize this series the Flames ultimately beat themselves, but the officiating has been horrendous for most of the series. So many missed calls, so many let go and then some real soft/bad timed calls made. Some consistency would be nice.

I’ve seen a lot of interference through the entire playoffs, some holds, a bunch of stuff just kinda overlooked or ignored. It makes me feel like the NHLOA just kinda agreed to officiate the playoffs with those unspoken regular season overtime rules, where they’ll let most everything go unless it’s pretty obvious.
