Open Post- Last Two Quarterfinal Games - USA/Czech Republic and Canada/Latvia

Two games at 12:00pm ET today and the winner of each of these games will play each other in the semifinals on Friday.

USA vs. Czech Republic on USA Network and TSN2 while Canada vs. Latvia on MSNBC and CBC.

Yep, zebra suckage there. Canada should have been awarded a penalty shot, but that’s not reviewable after the fact.

Is the rule that he can’t close his hand on the puck—cause I don’t think he did—or that he can’t touch it with his hand at all?

No, but all of Canada is going to have a conniption.  Latvian defenseman just pulled a puck back over the line: no goal.

Nope. Both semifinal games are tomorrow .. .at ... hrrmm, sorry, I don’t speak Greenwich Mean Time.

That link said the two semifinal games (games 27& 28) are on 21.02.2014, which I think is February 21, 2014 in eurospeak

NBCOlympics.com also has the two semis scheduled for Friday. Tomorrow is the Women’s hockey gold and bronze medal games.

Games on Friday are 7am ET and 12p ET.

Heard USA/Can will be on NBC, waiting to verify, will put up a post when official.
