Kukla's Korner Hockey

Open Post- Game 2, Western Conference Final

The puck will drop just after 8:00pm ET and you can watch on NBCSN, TSN or RDS.

I expect the LA Kings to put more  pressure on the Chicago Blackhawks defense and get to the net to create some 'dirty' goals.

Will they be successful?  We are about to find out.

Enjoy and feel free to comment on the game or anything hockey related.

Game.  6-2 Kings.

Glorious beatdown of the Cawks.  Just glorious.

Again.  It must burn the Flyers that Carter and Richards are just one series away from the SCFs once again.  Holmgren just ain’t a good GM.

To me the save by Quick on the Seabrook shot on a 2 on 1 with 7:12 left in the second period was a momentum swinger

Saw the score at end of the 2nd, then got busy and tuned back in to see the kings up by 3!!

Nothing like the front runner hawks fans trudging silently out into the night.  cool smile

quick gave the kings a chance to climb back in this, but let’s be honest: the Kings were not playing “Kings” hockey in the first half of the game. Too much pussy-footing around, chasing the Hawks, getting skated by, out-worked to loose pucks, no hitting, no forechecking, no ‘punch-you-in-the-face’ hockey below the goal line. After Quick’s save on Seabrook, they finally started hit, frustrating Toews and Kane, following through with checks, etc. This is how the slow down the Hawks, make them turn it over in the neutral zone and then pounce on them. Great, gritty, comeback by the Kings.
