...one other is not happy…
This week Major League Baseball lobbed its second brushback pitch at Slingbox, reiterating its stance that the young company is misusing its content. It’s not the first time a content owner has expressed concerns over the legality of the trapezoid-shaped set-top box, yet no one has actually filed suit.
To refresh your memory, this is what Keith Ritter, President, NHL Interactive Cyber Enterprises said about their relationship.
“Having the most tech-savvy fans of all major professional sports, who also tend to be early adopters of new technology, makes offering NHL content through Clip+Sling a natural fit, This partnership expands the visibility of our NHL games online and we are excited and proud to be the first sports league to offer this service to our fans.”
