Atlanta Thrashers forward Ilya Kovalchuk has been suspended one game for throwing his broken stick into the stands during Thursday night's game against the Washington Capitals.from TSN,
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Vincent Lecavalier has been suspended for one game, without pay, as a result of a highsticking incident against New York Rangers' forward Dominic Moore in a game played on Dec. 22. The incident occurred at 19:25 of the second period and Lecavalier was assessed a minor penalty.
