OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has signed alternate captain Mark Stone to a one-year, $7.35 million contract.

Stone was tied for the Senators team lead in scoring last season after scoring 20 goals and earning a career-high 42 assists for 62 points in only 58 games. He has scored 20 or more goals in each of his four full NHL seasons since joining the Senators full-time in 2014-15.
