By Alanah DownieThe best 5 games of the 2005-06 Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Army of Ohio breaks them down for you. (March 25, 2006 gets my vote.) In Montreal, the Habs Blog overheard that J.P. Dumont wants to come to town. All $2.9 million of him.
The frequently controversial Tom Benjamin takes the hockey media to task for errors past, present and future when it comes to their CBA reporting. And I enjoyed Jamie Fitzpatrick's post Requiem to a Cheapskate in 'honor' of Harry Sinden in view of his retirement this week. (Jamie's just keeping it real, Bruins fans.)
In Carolina, Red Neck Hockey was breaking down the St. Louis Blues this week, and noticed that the "Blues odds have dropped from 100-1 to 85-1 already." Good to know that Manny Legace impresses the bookies. But then again, Detroit is currently the favorite at 6-1, so maybe those bookies are just drunk...? (Oops, sorry. I keep forgetting Kukla's a Wings fan.)
And speaking of the Wings, On the Wings has some thoughts on the Henrik Zetterberg injury. Says Matt, "this is not good news, folks, especially considering the Wings still have not signed any serious offensive talent this summer." It gets worse from there.
At Waiting For Stanley - the self-deluded blog that thinks you can cheer for the Leafs and the Canucks at the same time - I found the best graphic of the week. Good to know that there are new and exciting ways to make fun of the Anaheim Ducks.
Finally, I hear Jaromir Jagr has gone into acting. Excellent! Unfortunately he's doing it in the Czech Republic, but Sidearm Delivery has photos and reassures us with this hopeful comment: "With any luck, the show will be appearing on DVD in North America soon, so that everyone can rent one from Blockbuster and break it."
Back with more on Monday. Have a great weekend!
