OLN, Hockey Related- ESPN Renews MLB Package

Comcast will not be happy with this and now must try for the NFL rights and the Tuesday-Thursday MLB package in order to gain viewer share. from Media Week,
ESPN has reached an eight-year regular season cable TV rights agreement with Major League Baseball, that will continue to allow ESPN to air Sunday night baseball as the exclusive MLB game that night, continue to televise a Wednesday night game which it also currently has rights to, as well as televising a new Monday night game that will co-exist with games being aired by local market carriers. MLB's current Tuesday-Thursday package, to which ESPN also holds the rights to through the end of next season, is still up for grabs, meaning that Comcast's OLN can still get a piece of the MLB telecast pie.
