Oilers Contemplating Moves

According to a report, Lowe has already talked Cal Nichols – the chairman of the investors group that owns the Oilers – about adding payroll. With $33 million US already committed to players, the Oilers can spend up to another $6 million and still not exceed the NHL's salary cap. "I'm sure he's looking," said Oilers defenceman Chris Pronger, when asked about the possibility of Lowe pulling the trigger on a trade.
