Numminen Doubtful

from the Globe and Mail (Tuesday edition),
It looks like the daily speculation about the Buffalo Sabres' walking wounded is over, which is not a good thing for them. The hope that defenceman Teppo Numminen will return from his groin-hip flexor injury faded yesterday. The team did not practise on Monday and he did not make himself available to reporters, but head coach Lindy Ruff made it clear he is unlikely to play on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
