Former Avalanche center Peter Forsberg is encouraged about the condition of his surgically repaired right ankle, and he has acknowledged to a Swedish newspaper that many teams remain interested in seeing if he would be available to play in the NHL next season.
Forsberg on Monday told the newspaper Expressen that his agent, Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Don Baizley, keeps him “informed of everything.”
